Cy Young. Maybe the best pitcher in all of baseball. Denton True (Cy) Young was a pitcher who is in the hall of fame, and has the most wins in baseball as a pitcher. This guy was amazing. He played for five different teams, and made a difference on each one.
The Cy Young award is awarded each year to the most effective player in MLB. Cy Young played for quite a bit of teams when he was young, which could have contributed to his skill in his professional years. You don't give out a huge award every year named after just some average guy. You give out a huge award every year for a guy named Cy Young.
Cy Young is in the Baseball Hall of Fame for many reasons. He had the most wins as a pitcher in baseball, and I'll give you some more reasons in the next paragraph. Cy Young was born on March 29, 1867, and died on November 4, 1955. He played from August 6, 1890, through October 11, 1911.
Why did Cy Young have the most wins in baseball? Well, his ERA (earned run average) was 2.63. He had 2,803 strikeouts, (holy cow), and his final record was 511 wins, and 316 losses.
Cy Young was quite amazing. He lived on a farm when he was young, and now he's a legend. Farmerboy Young to Legend Cy. That's quite a change.

Martha Washington

Picture
The first First Lady of the Untied States - Martha Washington. As the wife of George Washington, Martha had a lot of impact on the 1900s. She was the first woman ever on a U.S stamp. Her real name was Martha Dandridge Custis Washington.
Being the wife of George must have been amazing. This woman was in office from 1789 to 1797. She was born on June 2, 1731 and lived to May 22, 1802. In office, she was known as Lady Washington.
On her first stamp, (the first  U.S stamp with a woman on it), the stamp was an eight cent stamp. This stamp wasn't the only stamp Lady Washington was on. She was on others too.
Overall, Martha maybe could've been the best First Lady ever. But then again, it's your opinion.
